Mediknit (A HealthConnect Digital Initiative) is a platform designed to solve medical education access and delivery problems across the globe, through unbiased, technologically enhanced professional medical education. We work with healthcare institutions, enabling them to deliver digital education. In existence for nearly 3 years now, we partner with 30+ leading associations, including Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India (AMASI), Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venerologists and Leprologists (IADVL), Indian Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association, Indian Association of Surgical Gasteroenterology (IASG), Indian Arthroscopy Society (IAS), Indian National Association for Study of the Liver (INASL), Indian Radiological and Imaging Association (IRIA), Indian Academy of Neurology (IAN), Alzheimer's Related Disorders Society of India (ARDSI), The Simulation Society (TSS), Serious Games Association (SGA-Singapore) and many more. Through all these organisations we are digitally connecting more than 70000 specialists.
Best education is delivered by the best teaches, we work along with the institutions to identify subject matter experts and recruit them as faculty. Some of our key faculty come from leading institutions including AIIMS, RML-PGIMER, JIPMER, CMC Vellore, PGI-Chandigarh, BMC&H, BIN Kolkata, NIMHANS etc.
Technology plays an important role in dissemination of knowledge, our intelligent learning management system, custom built for medical education is integrated with AI and smart knowledge mapping. We focus upon competency based, self paced learning technologies medical education. We are using Gamification, VR, AR and Mixed reality to train doctors across specialties.
We were the pioneers to launch VR in surgical learning in India, where VR surgery was live streamed to an audience of 700 surgeons, giving an immersive experience. Moving away from the conventional conference formats, we organised India's first complete virtual conference for telemedicine society of India.
Live streamed India's first Robotic Liver Transplant Surgery on our platform to 300 plus viewers across the globe.
We proudly co-produce India's only blended learning diploma course in minimal access surgery by college of AMASI, which currently has 275 students from across the globe.
We have been working with Singapore General Hospital to automise nurses induction, enhance assessments and knowledge retention using Serious Games for training. As of date 300+ nurses in Singapore are piloting on games developed for Neonatal Resuscitation, Hand Hygiene, Immunisation Safety and Blood Transfusion.

‘Augmented Reality for First Responders’ was selected among the Top 3 in
Healthcare Innovation Technology challenge conducted by SGA Singapore in 2016. First of its kind application using a AR glass to train first responders with life saving skills at the time of emergency and in parallel connect with the nearest medical centre.
