SPML Infra is executing Phase 2 of Saurashtra-Narmada Avtaran Irrigation (SAUNI) Yojana with laying of 3000 mm diameter water pipeline in Gujarat that envisage to irrigate 1.8 million hectare of land in Saurashtra, Kutch and north Gujarat; benefiting millions of farmers and supplying potable water to 39 million people across 132 towns and 11,456 villages in Gujarat to address the scarcity of drinking water. SPML Infra has earlier last year completed the phase 1 of this project that was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Prime Minister in April 2017.
SPML Infra is executing urban water supply projects for improvement in water distribution network in Delhi for Mehrauli & Vasant Vihar and adjoining areas covering around 50,000 house service connections, non-revenue water management, installation of AMR & Non AMR water meters, 24x7 consumer care centre, metering, and billing including operations & maintenance for 10 years.
SPML Infra is also executing 6 important Asian Development Bank funded 24X7 urban water supply projects in Karnataka in the cities: Bellary, Raichur, Haveri, Hospet, Gadag-Betageri, and Sindhanur to serve a combined population of about 1.3 million. The work involves rehabilitation and development of water distribution network; over 2500 kms of water supply pipelines, rehabilitation and replacement of 2,50,000 house service connections with installation of advance water meters, non-revenue water management, 24x7 consumer care centre, metering, billing including operations & maintenance in all cities for 5 years.
SPML Infra has earlier completed Cauvery Water Supply Scheme for Bengaluru City with 500 MLD modern pumping station that has helped the water utility to provide drinking water facilities to over two million residents of new Bengaluru areas.
In the power infrastructure development, SPML Infra has completed and commissioned the 220 kV GIS substation in Alipurduar, West Bengal and similar project is under execution in Faridabad, Haryana.
SPML Infra is executing World Bank funded 16 new substations project in Tripura under North East Region (NER) Power System Improvement Project.
SPML Infra has completed the extension of 400/220 kV substation with installation of 500 MVA autotransformer in Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh and Sikar, Rajasthan.
SPML Infra is currently executing extension of 400 kV substations with 500 MVA autotransformers in three states-Jharkhand, Odisha and West Bengal as part of Eastern Region Strengthening Scheme.
SPML Infra has executed the underground sewerage network for the entire city of Mira Bahayandar in Maharashtra. The project is designed completely as decentralized system having 10 zones across the city with separate sewage treatment and pumping station. The new sewerage system implies closure of existing septic tanks and drainage through storm water drains improving overall hygiene and living standards. The comprehensive underground sewerage facilities in the 24 sq km area comprises of design, supply, laying, and commissioning of 115 km Sewer lines, 10 Pumping Stations and 10 Sewerage Treatment Plants of 7 to 17 MLD with total capacity of 115 MLD with latest MBBR technology.
SPML Infra has executed 42 MLD Sewage Treatment Plant and Sewerage Network in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh that is going to help in clean Ganga mission.
