Job description

  • A dynamic sales professional with 5  to 7 years of work experience preferably from the Education or Institution Industry.
    Job brief
    We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate to contribute in generating sales for our company and facilitate the growth of the business.
    The key responsibility will be reaching out to Institutes or Colleges and universities and sell Intercell offerings for their students. Candidate must be an excellent communicator and have superior people skills to develop and get business from schools or Institutes or colleges and universities.
    They must be comfortable presenting products or services over the phone and emails as well as dealing with students /young professionals during the sales visits to colleges and universities. The goal is to help the company grow by bringing in customers and developing business.
    Responsibilities:
  • Introduce the Intercell platform to various educational institutions across India.
  • Filter potential Institutes and Colleges and Universities and sell sessions at Intercells platform for their existing students.
  • Create and find tie-up opportunities with educations hubs, institutes.
  • Find and reach out to counsellors teachers or faculty members or dean or vice chancellors or the decision-makers to get Intercell platform empanelment.
  • Understand and close long-term sales deals or contracts.
  • Go the “extra mile” to meet sales and revenue target and facilitate future sales pipeline.
  • Relationship Management: Develop and manage the relationship with senior management and
  • Faculty across colleges and educational institutes through email, telephonic or face to face conversations.
  • Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information.
  • Develop the pipeline of new business coming into the company.
    Requirements:
  • Proven sales experience in the education industry with students or lecturer or counsellors.
  • Maintain good relations with clients and the ability to describe explain about Intercell.
  • Create and develop new business through contacts.
  • Good knowledge of relevant computer programs e-mails or software or Ms excel or proficient social media usage and telephone systems.
  • Excellent spoken and written knowledge of English.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Outstanding sales and negotiation skills.
