Role & Responsibilities: Understand the creative brief and pose questions for further clarity, as and when required Interpreting the client's business needs and developing a concept to suit their purpose Estimating the time required to complete the work and providing ideas Developing design briefs by gathering information and data through research Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts Using innovation to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time Presenting finalised ideas and concepts to clients or account managers Participate and consistently contribute to brainstorming sessions Contributing ideas and design artwork to the overall brief Working on layouts and artwork pages ready for print Keeping abreast of emerging technologies in new media, particularly design programs such as Illustrator, Photoshop, Corel Draw, InDesign, Acrobat. Developing interactive design Commissioning illustrators and photographers The ability to grasp client needs and consider practical solutions The ability to pay attention to detail The ability to balance work on several projects at a time Working as part of a team with vendors, copywriters, photographers, illustrators, other designers, account executives, web developers and marketing specialists Stay updated with the latest design trends and attempt to bring in a fresh approach to design for each campaign Interact regularly with the Art Director to identify areas of improvement and act in accordance with the guidance provided Deliver quality designs whilst adhering to timelines
