Job Description

  • The Import Sales Manager will be responsible for bringing in clients who import cargo (fast fashion, automotive, general cargo etc.) to India via air, sea & land, from various origins across the globe. 
  • He/She will also be responsible to oversee the operations along with commercials which includes- customs brokerage processes, as well as internal processes and procedures to ensure 100% service delivery to the client.
  • The candidate will be acting as a link between the corporate office and clients, to ensure smooth end-to-end processes for customers.
  • In addition to onboarding new clients, the candidate will be responsible to the harbor and grow the existing business flow of the import department in order to achieve financial and organizational goals.
  • Should be able to generate majority of the business from Imports business, keeping the focus on Garment Accessories, Textiles, Automotives, High end electronics & Machineries.
  • Negotiating sales terms with Customers, and overseeing network partners.
  • Involved in market intelligence and understanding of accounting functions – including but not limited to billing, profit share and financial audit of import files.
