Job Title: Creative Content and Social Media Specialist

Minimum Experience/Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a discipline related to the area of assignment; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

- Experience with AP style and ability to adhere to the NC State editorial guidelines
Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, English, or related field from an accredited college or university, and at least two years of writing and editing experience
- High school diploma or equivalency and at least five years of writing and editing experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Familiarity with WordPress, MailChimp, Google Analytics, G Suite, and the Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience working at a newspaper or magazine and turning around clean, clear copy on deadline
- Experience working in a college or educational setting or other multi-layered, complex organization
- Understanding of effective SEO strategies
