Job description

Job Purpose: 

Sales & Service Engineer will be responsible to serve company areas of Sales, Marketing & Servicing. he/she will be responsible for sales and after sales service (from inquiry to Successful installation) implement the scope of work agreed between Maanila Plast. Sales & Service Engineer would require visiting the clients from inquiry stage to discussions, decisions, documentation, processes, periodic reviews, monthly reports, among other tasks and servicing of same.

Designation: Sales & Service Engineer

Job Location: Bangalore

Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years in plastic processing machinery

Education: Diploma /Graduate in Mechanical or Plastic Eng. PG/MBA in Marketing will be an advantage.

Will travel? Yes (Extensive Intra-city travelling)

Preferred Domain: Field Sales from Machine Manufacturing Sector etc.

Responsibility:

§  Sales & Service Engineer will do cold calling, Tele calling, Follow-up of generated inquiry & attend walking inquires by client in all week days 

§  Sales & Service Engineer need to travel outstation for business.

§  Sales & Service Engineer needs to take mailing   follow-ups client at various stages.

§  Sales & Service Engineer needs to maintain Client information in CRM / Software. 

§  Sales & Service Engineer has to take the approval from senior management on any pricing deviation.

§  Sales & Service Engineer May have to take part in any marketing events or property show decided by management.

§  He/She should upgrade himself/herself on industry knowledge. He must also document the client’s need for better decisions.      

§  He/She must maintain a healthy relationship with all his/her clients. 

§  He/She has to create and send various MIS to the management and adhere to the policies and processes of Maanila Plast.

§  He/She must resolve complaints within defined TATs. 

§  Knowledge of plastic processing & it’s industry.

§  Excellent client-interfacing skills

§  Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) 

§  Attentiveness to details

§  Knowledge of functioning of businesses

§  MS office proficiency

§  Ability to comprehend and analyze relevant industries for industry insights and trends
