Job Responsibilities:
The candidate is responsible to assist in transport queries, routing and compliance management. This role is to ensure safe, efficient, effective and responsive services for the commuters. He will be responsible for the following activities:
- Responsible for strategizing, planning and delivering excellence in transport operations.
- Track route information and communicating this to the Commuters.
- Controlling and regulating pickup/drops are on time with adequate vehicle availability
- Perform ongoing evaluation of route efficiencies, develop strategies for improvement and report suggested changes to the Transportation Team.
- Conduct regular safety audits of fleet.
- To deal with any transport related issues in conjunction with the rest of the operations team.
- Addressing customer grievances with swift resolution to their problems.
- Generating daily/monthly MIS reports.
- Attachment of vehicles with proper documents as per as the company norms.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in transport routing knowledge and GPS navigation.
Skills, Aptitude and Abilities:
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and also to lead a team when the opportunity arises.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Good customer service skills so as to be able to professionally deal with internal customers.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Good understanding of backup transport arrangements.
- Should be comfortable working in any shift.
- Excellent time management skills; should be able to multi task and work on multiple simultaneous deliverables whenever required.
- Good MS Office skills (Excel, Word & Power Point).
