Government jobs in India have always been and will continue to be heavily favored by a vast majority of job seekers. Unlike private jobs, a Sarkari job has its own benefits. Take salaries for example. A Sarkari Naukri might not pay as much as private jobs in India, but as a government employee, you can get standardized increments and bonuses.
To top that, govt jobs today offer flexible working hours, added benefits like various allowances, pension & retirement benefits, medical benefits and concessions, housing and/or accommodation, travel allowances, but most of all, job security — unless your documents are forged, all govt jobs are 100% secure with the retirement age fixed at 58-60 years, which in some cases can even be extended by a further 1-2 years.
With so much to offer, the current govt jobs definitely appeal to all who want a piece. And by ‘all’, we mean everybody. The Central Government of India, including the respective State Governments, conduct govt job recruitment all year round, for different job roles spread across different sectors. This means Sarkari Naukri jobs for all. Which further means 12th pass government jobs, 10th pass government job, government jobs for graduates, government jobs after post graduation, government jobs after PhD, and even government jobs for 8th pass candidates.
You can understand by now that this whopping number of government job vacancies garners a candidate pool of epic proportions resulting in greater competition. Job seekers must be efficient, alert, and meticulous when applying to the latest government jobs in India. Faltering in the application process, missing deadlines, or not following up can result in your application being rejected — you don’t want that at any cost.
With our portal, you can be sure of successfully applying, for the features and the latest information on government jobs that we provide to you is second to none. Let’s take a look at what you get out of Aasaanjobs for all things related to a Sarkari Naukri.
Every Sarkari job comes with minimum educational qualification criteria set by the hiring authority. For example, Jobs in defence such as a tailor job or a carpenter job may only require the candidate to hold a 10th pass certificate or an ITI certificate whereas IAF Airman officer jobs or pilot jobs are considered graduate jobs or postgraduate jobs.
This is the criteria set for all job roles regardless of the hiring agency, government, or company. And as a job seeker, you must meet it to qualify for the other stages of the selection process that awaits down the line. Such information with even the minutest of details is everpresent for all government jobs here. To prove this point, take Indian Army soldier clerk jobs (or SKT jobs) as an exhibit. We not only display information about the minimum educational qualification required for this role which is 12th pass, but also inform you about the ‘other’ requirement which is bookkeeping, accounts or mathematics as a 12th pass subject.
In this way, you’re completely informed about the criteria for any Sarkari Naukri.
You can also filter all government jobs on here based on location. And the reason why we have implemented this feature for you is that for any job, be it government or otherwise, location is as important as any other parameter — such as salary, perks, and the like — to help you decide if you should apply or not.
We populate our government jobs listings by location for your convenience. Now you can search for Haryana jobs, Delhi jobs, Karnataka jobs, UP jobs and more. Clicking on any automatically filters, sorts, and displays all current govt jobs in that particular location. Which brings us to the next nifty feature for your government job search.
Many a time (or almost all the time), candidates don’t have an inkling towards the location or other Sarkari job parameters — to them, the association with the employer is all that matters.
Although you might have job offers from other recruiters (based on your qualification), favouring a government agency or department offering you a Sarkari job role in your field is completely justified, and fair by all means, all day.
India houses some of the best government agencies, departments, and institutes. Getting a government job under one is not just a matter of stability or security, but also a matter of pride and repute. UPSC jobs, for instance, are held in high regard by all. So, how do you stay ahead of the pack? If you aren’t aware (or have faced it personally), many fall out of the race for simply botching up their application in the first stage or other stages down the line. Employee Compensation or salary is one of the prime factors which attracts people towards government jobs. A government employee's salary consists of TA, DA, HRA and other allowances. When combined, the gross salary of a government employee turns out to be quite a decent amount when compared with private-sector employees. Especially for skilled labour, government jobs pay as good as or more than the private sector.
Everyone knows that the public sector offers unparalleled job security. Cases of unreasonable firing or performance-based layoffs are rare in public sector jobs. The retirement age for govt employees is between 56-60. Even after retiring, they're eligible for surplus benefits like pension.
Perks, bonuses and medical benefits
Depending on the grade of job and pay bands, a government employee is entitled to various perks and bonuses. What's more, retirement benefits offered by government jobs can't be matched by those offered by most private jobs. Provident fund schemes, gratuity, pension schemes, salary arrears etc make their retirement life hassle-free and relaxing. Also, government employees receive decent medical cover and insurance options for themselves and their families.
The leave policy of govt jobs is far more generous than that of private jobs. Availability of a decent amount of off-days and flexible working hours makes government jobs a dream come true for most of the job seekers.
