About BPSC Recruitment

Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) majorly conducts recruitment in two manners: directly or through promotions.

In the first, BPSC directly recruits candidates for a host of government jobs through a written BPSC Sarkari exam which can be paper-based or online. In this examination, candidates have to attain a Sarkari result which clears the cut-off mentioned in the BPSC notification 2019 -20.

After clearing the prelims, you might have to appear for a mains examination followed by a single or multiple rounds of interviews.

In the second scenario, Sarkari jobs are handed out to existing employees by way of promotions. A Promotion Committee for every department recommends civil servants for promotion under the chairmanship of the Commission.
