About Central Board of Secondary Education

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is managed by the Union Government of India. It is a national level board of education for government-under and private schools in India. 

All the schools under CBSE follow the NCERT curriculum. 

The syllabus for NCERT is curated in such a way that the courses are in a specific flow or in connection with each other. There are about 20,299 schools in India and 220 schools in various other countries, affiliated to CBSE. Kendriya Vidyalayas (KV), Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas(JNV), private schools and most of the schools accredited by the central government of India are affiliated to the CBSE.

  • B.E./B.Tech (IT)/MCA/M.SC. (IT) from a recognized University.

  • Master’s degree in
    • Hindi with English as an optional or mandatory subject or as the medium of examination.
    • English with Hindi as an optional or mandatory subject or as the medium of examination.
    • Any subject other than English or Hindi, with Hindi medium and English as a mandatory or optional subject or as the medium of examination
    • Any subject other than English or Hindi with English medium and Hindi as an optional or mandatory subject or medium of examination.
    • Any subject other than English and Hindi with Hindi and English as optional or mandatory subjects or either of the two as a medium of examination.
  • Certificate course or diploma in translation from Hindi to English language and English to Hindi language
  • 3-year experience in the field of translation in central or state government offices.

  • Graduate degree from a recognized board or university.
  • Typing speed of 40 WPM
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Preference for candidates having 50% marks and above with post-graduate diploma in computer application/ O level certificate from DOEACC/ Information technology.
  • 3 years experience in any authorized organization with minimum 2 years experience in a large data processing.

  • Skill test norms:
    • 80 WPM for diction
    • Transcription English - 50 mts
    • Transcription Hindi - 65 mts

  • Minimum 2 year experience in accounts and audit from any recognized organization

    Group - A posts

    Application Fees - Rs. 1500/- per post for general and OBC candidates. There are no application fees for SC/ ST, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen, and women candidates.

    Group - B & C posts

    Application Fees - Rs. 800/- per post for general and OBC candidates. There are no application fees for SC/ ST, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen, and women candidates.
